The Stories
Alberto Del Rio defeated Dolph Ziggler in the match of the night. I absolutely loved this match. Ziggler was not going to win, but he came damn close like he always does. Dolph missed a corner splash, which gave Alberto the opportunity to punch him in the back before connecting with an inverted suplex. Alberto hits a few clotheslines, then he connects with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker before superkicking him for a near fall. At this point, the action was flawless. Dolph fought back with a dropkick and his excellent cocky attitude. Dolph was able to reverse Del Rio with a spinning DDT and another close fall. Dolph tries a rollup, but the champion gets him in the Cross Armbreaker for the victory. Excellent pacing of the match combined with sheer intelligence and logic. Even though I wanted Ziggler to FINALLY get a big victory, he did not and it made sense.

-Alberto Del Rio makes fun of Jack Swagger to kick off Smackdown. Like usual, Zeb Colter bashes Del Rio and talks about "Real Americans." I cannot say this enough: Zeb Colter seems so real it's sick. He is excellent at his dictating of words, his language, and the realism in his personality. Everyone knows a guy like him. Del Rio and Ricardo mocked them by making their Youtube video. I actually laughed a little here. This makes Del Rio a little more connected to the crowd, while everyone hates on Swagger. Simplistic, right? I can appreciate that.
