What’s NOT Bothering Me: HHH Returns, Cena, Punk vs Taker

John Cena#1. John Cena

This will come across arrogant,  but at this point, I really don't care. The amount of negativity toward John Cena, STILL, after his main event match with Punk on Raw, made me so angry toward "that" portion of the IWC, I literally had veins popping out of my head.

To be honest, it makes me feel sorry for those fans who want to maintain their position that "Cena sucks" as a wrestler. I feel sorry for you because I would imagine that failure to acknowledge when you're wrong must carry over into other parts of your life as well. And that has to be a miserable way to live.

To those of you that understandably cry for evolution in Cena's character, I'm not really talking to you. All I would say in this situation is please make sure you're arguing the right points. One great match doesn't change the fact Cena's gimmick has become stale, predictable, and at times, boring. Argue that all you want; you have a valid complaint.

However, to those of you claiming "Punk carried the match" and "Cena still can't wrestle", I consider you all idiots. Harsh? Sure, but it's my OPINION. If you are too stubborn to give Cena, the wrestler, the credit he's due after an incredible, PPV-quality match like the one he had Monday, then my opinion is that you're a bona fide idiot.

Did CM Punk allow Cena to excel at his highest level? Absolutely. Incredible wrestlers can bring out the best in everyone. The problem is what you apparently think Cena's "best" is. Consider this logic:

If Cena sucks as a wrestler as much as you say he does, then Punk would have only been able to carry him so far. If Cena's "best" is, let's say, Punk's "worst", then Punk would have just had one of his worst matches, right? But you don't hear anyone saying that. Rather, they give Punk ALL the credit for doing the impossible – making Cena better than he actually is.

Again, that's IMPOSSIBLE!

John Cena is certainly not bothering me this week. He deserves all the appreciation and respect he's getting from "most" people – the sane people. The crazies will never come around, nor will they agree with me, but that's okay – they have it much harder than I do. Hell, they're crazy after all. Lectures from me won't do them any good; medicine is the only thing that "might" work.
