Wrestlezone’s Top Ten: Greatest Wrestlemania Superstars of All Time

Number 6: Bret Hart

Bret Hart

The Excellence of Execution was WWE’s top guy for a handful of years, putting on technical exhibitions of excellence each week. Bret Hart made some great Wrestlemania moments, and some of them were not by his design. At Wrestlemania 9, it should have been about him, but he had no choice to swallow his pride and let Hulk Hogan gain the spotlight once more. After an incredible match against his brother, Bret Hart competed with Shawn Michaels and Stone Cold in consecutive years. It is hard for me to tell you which one was better, because both told phenominal stories of perseverance and determination of will. Hart was in both, and that is not a coincidence that they came off as 5 star matches. The Hitman owned the big event for a handful of years, and always reminded the old school fans that technical wrestling is still one of the most beautiful crafts in the WWE. Mix that with a little blood and storytelling, you have yourself a match with Bret Hart.
