Number 6: Josh’s Background in Sports and Music

While many people know about Justin LaBar, thanks to his excellent show on Trib Live Radio, not many know about Josh and what his history is. Josh grew up loving sports and loving music. In High School, he lettered in football and played baseball and basketball. After two years, he focused his talents on Musical Theater, landing the leads in The Music Man, Into The Woods, and Oklahoma while attending West Allegheny High School. When he went to Point Park. he refocused his goals on sports. After announcing for Point Park University sports, Josh landed an Internship with ESPN Radio, where he was able to learn and gain experience by interviewing some of the biggest sports stars in Pittsburgh. From Ben Roethlisberger to Andrew McCutchen, Josh was able to use that experience to land a job in radio. Josh was hired February of 2010 with CBS Radio, a new station called Sportsradio 93.7 The Fan as a Producer. Josh would work in a part time aspect, but then get a job with Major League Baseball in 2012. Josh worked in their advanced media productions in Pittsburgh. Beginning in 2013, Josh will finally leave Pittsburgh and work for MLB in the Baltimore and Washington, DC markets. While many people may not know what Josh has done, this is a look into what his everyday job is aside from all the work he has done with Wrestlezone.com.
