Number 2: The Idea of Chair Shot Reality
Justin LaBar came up with an idea, one that Josh never took seriously. A phone call saying “how would you like to do a wrestling show with me?” Josh honestly never took the idea seriously, but was interested in it. Justin and Josh sat down for lunch and talked about creating a show and named it The Chair Shot Reality. After taking out the “the” word, CSR became something that had legs to it. Justin and Josh worked hard at coming up with an idea for a show, and it was all about timing. After filming the first show, which featured an interview with Rob Van Dam, both guys knew that they had something here. This was an untapped market, and after several months, the pilot became more than just a one shot thing. Chair Shot Reality became something bigger and more interesting. A simple phone call, a simple lunch, and the show was created.
