From there, he would defeat Daniel Bryan at Over The Limit, Kane and Bryan at No Way Out, Bryan at Money in the Bank, and then focused to John Cena. Punk defeated Cena at Raw 1000, Big Show and Cena at Summerslam, and then John Cena once again at Night of Champions. He would beat Ryback in October at Hell in a Cell, and then defend it successfully at Survivor Series. His reign has reached over 400 days.
World Heavyweight Championship (3 Champions in 2012)
Daniel Bryan started the year with the World Championship. He won the title in December of 2011 and hold it until 18 seconds gave Sheamus the World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania. Sheamus would defeat Del Rio, Orton, and Jericho at Over the Limit, continue with victories over Ziggler and Del Rio into the summer months, until he faced The Big Show. Sheamus lost to Show at Hell in a Cell, where Big Show has successfully defended the championship. Big Show will enter 2013 as the World Heavyweight Champion.
Intercontinental Championship (6 Champions in 2012)
Cody Rhodes won the WWE Intercontinental Championship from Ezekiel Jackson in late 2011. After months as champion, he would drop that title to Big Show at Wrestlemania 28 in Miami. The Big Show would not hold the title for long, as he would give it away to Rhodes only 28 days later. Cody would hold the title until he faced Christian in Raleigh, North Carolina. As Raw 1000 approached, The Miz came out and defeated Christian. He held the title until he finally dropped it to Kofi Kingston in October. Kingston will drop the title tonight from Washington, D.C. to Wade Barrett.
