Title This: WWE SuperSmackdown Live Reaction 12-18

Antonio CesaroRyback defeated Antonio Cesaro . I was skeptical from the very beginning. Cesaro has been booked so strong over the past few months, suffering few losses and winning big matches with ease. When I saw he was facing Ryback again, you knew he would take the loss unless an outside interference occurred. Cesaro was able to get some offense in, controlling Ryback on the mat. Cesaro would lock in a great arm submission hold, hit a suplex, but Ryback would come back strong. He hit the clothesline, and would finish him with a Shell Shocked. I just wonder why these guys faced off against one another. They are both young and need to focus on their separate feuds, especially a guy as sensitive in booking as Cesaro. He cannot afford to continue to lose matches or people will not take him seriously. Grade: C+

Kaitlyn defeated Eve via Disqualification in a WWE Divas Championship match. Kaitlyn looked soldi in this bout, hitting some "hybrid" type moves. She was able to get the better of Eve on certain exchanges, hitting a powerslam and a clothesline in succession. It looked like Eve was struggling to keep up physically with Kaitlyn. The match showcased both of their strengths, and the feud will continue due to Eve causing a DQ by holding the leg of the referee. Her characteristics are flawed, with one night dominating and showing off and the next night looking like a wuss. Grade: C+

Brodus Clay defeated Brad Maddox, in a match where Maddox tried to get a contract, again. I really am sick of these squash matches, and feel that Maddox should have won months ago. He needs to be taken seriously and not getting beaten by every single wrestler. He has a future, unlike Clay who is categorized in one specific genre for the rest of his life. (unless he gets repackaged again.)
