Randy Orton defeated Alberto Del Rio in a 2/3 Falls Match. First off, the action back and forth was fantastic, as both men thrive in timing and execution of offensive moves. Orton got the first fall via DQ, when Del Rio continued to attack Orton's arm. Del Rio was aggressive and intense, but got the DQ early. The second fall was dominated by Del Rio, including multiple attempts at the Armbar submission hold, which he would finally get locked in. Orton tapped quickly, and it came down to the final fall. Del Rio and Orton continued the great pacing, the fast tranisitional moves, and both men hit their respected arsenal of moves. Orton hit a beautiful DDT, like usual, but Del Rio tried to set him up for an RKO. As Del Rio missed, he would quickly try to hit a kick to the head, but Orton ducked and hit an RKO for the win. I love when these two wrestle, and tonight was nothing different. My only gripe is that we have seen this 4 TIMES over the past month or so. There is no connection between the two guys more than a wrestling match. We have never gotten a real feud, and I am beginning to think Alberto Del Rio is the reason. His character just does not draw any kind of heat, and needs to be changed immediately. Did anyone think Orton would lose? Let's be real. Grade: B
The Great Khali defeated Primo and Epico in a waste of time. Grade: F
The Miz defeated David Otunga in a solid bout between two guys on different roads. The Miz gets a good victory after taking a beating from the much larger opponent in Otunga. I would not have been against Otunga winning here, as he has been completely irrelavant since John Laurinaitis' storyline ended. Otunga should be used more seriously, and we saw some of the good moves he has. I enjoy his lifting elbow drop from the ropes, and his spinebuster. With his physique, he should be taken as a more serious heel. He could be beneficial, but he has been squashed too many times. Miz looked crisp and good throughout, but his finisher is weak. Nobody likes it, and it does not look good. Grade: C+
Sheamus defeated Damien Sandow. This was a great match for both guys. Before the match, Sheamus and Big Show exchange words, but it was all about the action for me. Sandow continues to impress, calculating each move onto Sheamus. His intelligence is shown with the attacks to the lower body of Sheamus and continuing to target his limbs. This does more for Sandow, showing that he can keep pace with Sheamus. I also was impressed with the accuracy of Sheamus in the way of him being able to connect with a beautiful Brogue Kick. It seems like he never misses a beat, no matter who he faces. Sheamus hits White Noise and the kick to finish off his opponent, and I thoroughly enjoy that. Grade: B+
Daniel Bryan and Kane vs. Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara end in a No Contest. This was the best time for a solid match to gain more attraction to it. Primetime Players get involved at the end of a highly contested bout. I will give credit to Kane for being able to keep pace with Rey and Sin, but I am getting tired of seeing Daniel Bryan be the weak link in the ring. Furthermore, Bryan is more suited to work a great match with Rey over Sin, and should focus on those two. Bryan is so aggressive, and it shows in his face with each kick to Rey and Sin throughout the match. I continue to be impressed with these two teams, and love the fact that PTP got involved at the end. The tag titles are actually meaningful, and legit teams are vying for that spot to face Team Hell No. Smart, logical, and forwards a few different angles. Grade: B+
