What DID Bother Me: AJ/Vickie Continues
I really want to argue that there's no place for this "affair" story, period, but I'll reduce my argument to there being no place for it on a paid event. I'm not spending $55 to watch AJ and Vickie continue going back and forth with fake evidence against one another.
AJ coming out and using her reverse psychology method against Vickie should have been designated for Raw, and Raw only. Of course, I'll get my wish as I'm certain we'll get more of it tonight as well.
I beg of you, Vince – if there's a point to all of this nonsense, get to it. And fast. Bad acting and cheesy love affairs are tolerable when they're free, but when you throw them into a program that I bought and paid for, I begin thinking less of myself for purchasing said program. And that's never a good thing for someone as confident and arrogant as me.
What DID Bother Me: Antonio Cesaro/Truth
I'm not going to complain further about Cesaro's inability to get over — that much is noticeable by now — but I expected more from these two in the ring. I'm not going to say it was horrible, but it certainly wasn't to the level we expect from both men.
I thought it was a smart move to pair Cesaro with Truth, primarily because Truth is an over babyface, but the build to last night's match was about as uninspiring as the match itself. Both men are super talented in the ring, but something just wasn't clicking last night. The way the match was structured didn't really allow for much, so I don't blame them entirely, but that's about as positive as this review will get.
