FANDAGOO – ONE STEP DOWN
I don't have to see it to know. Gimmicks like this can be fun, but nothing substantial will come from it. Period.
I don't know much about Johnny Curtis, but I hear he's very talented. This gimmick won't necessarily be the death of him, but dancing wrestlers don't have the best track records. I say that with all due respect to my buddy and former WZ columnist, Glenn Gilberti.
I'm curious to what Curtis and Clays' tag team name will be. Of course, WWE should determine whether it's going to be "Fandagoo" or "Fandango" first.
JOSEPH PARK – ONE STEP UP
I want to send some love over to TNA and what they're doing with Joseph Park. Abyss was getting redundant and I know we haven't seen the last of him, but Joseph Park has been a refreshing change of pace.
Chris Parks is a very smart guy and this character allows him to demonstrate that fact. It will be interesting to see if they start letting him work more often in the near future, and if they do, how they explain it.
It still amazes me when I say things like this, but Bully Ray is even helping Park. I think that dynamic is still something worth pursuing further given Bully Ray's history with both Joseph Park and Abyss.
