WWE Hell in a Cell: What Did & Did Not Bother Me

However, VOW Reaction WILL TAKE PLACE tonight, with Adam Gorzelsky and myself, immediately following Monday Night Raw!

In the meantime, check out our VOW Reaction episode for last night’s WWE Hell in a Cell pay per view.

What Did NOT Bother Me: Tag Team Championship Match

I know plenty of you were expecting Rhodes Scholars to walk out with the titles, but if you would have read my predictions column, you would have known that wasn’t going to happen. (I was perfect in my predictions last night, OTHER THAN a small technicality — I said Team Hell No would win and leave with the titles, but I didn’t account for a DQ. I get half a point at the VERY least.)

Obnoxious bragging aside, I think this was the right choice. Without the titles, Kane and Daniel Bryan have very little reason to remain together. They’ve been too good in this angle not to drag it out a bit further.

Ultimately, Sandow and Rhodes will beat them and go on to lead a redeveloped tag team division, but I would imagine it doesn’t happen until Survivor Series, possibly even TLC. It wouldn’t surprise me if these two teams are competing members of a traditional-style match at Survivor Series.

Both teams were protected last night and this story gets to continue developing in the coming weeks. That’s not a bad thing.
