Sorry for the delay in posting this today. It's been a long, hectic day.
CM Punk – One Step Up
I rarely go out of my way anymore to get a WWE-produced DVD. It's not that I don't enjoy them, but I generally end up forgetting they even exist after a while. And that's a direct result of me not going out of my way when they first come out. Procrastination, to a T.
I changed my ways with the new "Best in the World" release. I heard it was making the rounds online (Twitter is useful, occasionally), so I immediately stopped everything I was doing, went and found it.
Turns out, it was worth it.
WWE allowed more than they had to in this documentary. There was lots of footage from Punk's rise on the independents, including IWA Mid-South and Ring of Honor. Samoa Joe was even put over huge at one point. It was a very good representation of what makes Punk, Punk.
I highly recommend you follow my suit and go out of your way to get this DVD if you haven't already.
