Title This: Impact Wrestling Reaction For 9-13-12

Hulk Hogan-Bully Ray gets Hardy to agree to put his title match on the line for tonight.

Hulk Hogan and The Aces and Eights

What I Liked:

Hogan comes out and talks about what happened at No Surrender. He says that the Impact Zone will be locked down forever. Aces and Eights show up on screen, and the leader talks about how smart Hogan was on Sunday. He goes on to say that Hogan could have it on lock down, but is he locking them out or in? He talks about how someone that he does not expect could be with their group. This ends the segment. When looking at the history, you could easily assume that Dixie Carter or Jeff Jarrett could be in charge of this group. They are the "known" owners of the company, so I expect it to be them. It could also be Sting, who has been boys with Hogan for too long now without another character change. Nonetheless, they continue to progress the story and keep you guessing, which is what they should do.

What I Disliked:

There needs to be more to draw in the casual fan each week. We need to find out more information quicker, as it has dragged on and been on the same path over a month. When you have a suspecious storyline like this, little pieces and evidence need to occur often, and they have somewhat stalled in the next move. You notice this.

Chavo Guerrero Defeats Christopher Daniels

What I Liked:

As we get Chavo and Daniels, we got the same type of match from Chavo we have seen. There is no doubt he is a gifted talent in the ring, and he hits great suplexes and submission moves throughout. Daniels can work with anyone, so credit to him. I thought the victory was good for Chavo's character and place in TNA, and this makes two tag teams with title opportunities. I think the addition of Chavo and Hernandez is good and makes for a more interesting tag team championship.

What I Disliked:

Chavo is Chavo. I just still do not see why he is with the company. He is a great talent, but does not really fit in the "youth" movement we have seen with TNA recently. He is a great teacher and coach, and should be in the spot Al Snow or D-Lo Brown is in. Let him teach, as his wrestling days are winding down.
