Mt. Killamanjaro: TNA No Surrender – The Worst Selling PPV of the Year, and Why You Should Watch It

The Rest of the Card, and Why You Should Buy

Having no direction in their tag team division, TNA turned to a re-match of one of the best matches of the Stylesyear thus far. AJ Styles and Kurt Angle will face off against Daniels & Kazarian. Never mind that there’s history between these two teams. Never mind that AJ Styles has been dying to finish his business with the World Champions (of the World) since before last year’s Bound for Glory. It’s worth watching No Surrender for how good their last match was; I expect only the same (or better) from them this time around.

The Knockouts…pass. I lost interest again when they put Madison Rayne in the transitional Champion role…for the same woman.

Rob Van Dam takes on Magnus, which apart from having no build whatsoever, should be a decent wrestling match. If nothing else it will likely feed into a storyline or two, and Magnus needs the big win. He’s a great talent, and it is absolutely imperative that TNA take advantage of his talents before they miss their window.

Generally speaking, a wrestling product should be good enough that I shouldn’t be spending time convincing you to watch their pay-per-view. But Sunday Night Football is really exciting, and the Impact product has been so busy with storyline and character development going into Bound for Glory, that this card kind of wrote itself anyways.

So, as if it will make any difference at all in the grand scheme of things, here is a list of reasons WHY YOU SHOULD WATCH TNA NO SURRENDER:

-Kurt Angle, AJ Styles, Daniels and Kazarian are going to put on a wrestling match that you absolutely do not want to miss. Trust me, you don’t want to be the guy who checks his Twitter feed and sees “OMG! That was incredible!” and have to ask what happened…

-Both Bound for Glory Series matches should be great. Jeff Hardy and Samoa Joe? Bully Ray and James Storm? What’s not to love about those match-ups? Any combination of final match will also most likely be high quality.

-Bobby Roode is likely to make his return, and set up a major angle going into next month’s pay-per-view.

-Aces & Eights might get a reveal. Maybe.

-Last but not least, it’s the final PPV before Bound for Glory! This event is going to set up one of wrestling’s biggest annual events. The card should look much clearer following tonight’s show, there are plenty of good matches, and TNA has constantly delivered a quality product since going to a live format.

Watch TNA No Surrender, discuss it in the Wrestlezone Forums, and talk with me on Twitter throughout the evening. I can (almost) guarantee that you won’t regret it. I won’t give you any money back if you do, but I will feel some sort of remorse for your wasted time.
