Wrestlezone’s Top 10: Rise and Falls From 2011
2. The Miz- Fall
When you look at Wrestlemania 27, you will remember The Rock and John Cena coming face to face. You will also remember it being Edge’s last match. For almost everyone else, you will remember Undertaker vs. Triple H part one in an instant classic. You may tend to forget that The Miz walked out of Atlanta as the WWE Champion. He was at the highest of highs, only to fall to the lowest of lows. He would continue to work 2011 on the top, but would lose to guys like Alex Riley. He would main event Survivor Series, only to lose to Rock and Cena. He was being overshadowed time and time again, and the 2012 year has not been kind to him. Yes, he is currently the Intercontinental Champion, but The Miz LOST TO SANTINO MARELLA. He did not just lose, but he got squashed on the Extreme Rules Pre Show on Youtube. I still cannot fathom the fact that Miz went from Rock and Cena to losing to Santino.
