What’s Bothering Me: Wrestling Media, Hardy, NWA Who?

It's Labor Day and nothing "should" be bothering me, but plenty does. Plus, it's the theme of this article to find negative things each week and write about them. So, let's get started…

#3. NWA Who?

The National Wrestling Alliance has new ownership, and very few batted an eyelash. There might be a huge scandal involved with the transfer, but very few could care at all. It's sad.

If you thought the NWA was dead, as I've heard many presume in recent years, it might as well be. And the companies using the three letters as a prefix to their own are foolish if they believe it adds importance, relevance, or some sort of credibility.

It's a joke.

It shouldn't be, however, and doesn't necessarily have to be even. This R. Bruce Harpe guy (new owner) could have great ideas and a gameplan to lead the organization well. Maybe that will make up for the potentially shady way he acquired the company. Winning always does.

By the way, I've reached out to several sources regarding the NWA and the new ownership, and am awaiting responses. If there is anyone with good knowledge of the goings-on within the organization that would like to provide me with additional information to use here on the site, please email me at chris.cash@wrestlezone.com.
