#2. Matt Hardy's Speech
Contrary to popular belief, I have nothing against Matt Hardy. In fact, I respect him and his obvious passion for the wrestling business a great deal.
What bothers me is his constant need for reassurance by his peers and fans. His recent take to Facebook is the perfect example.
Hardy writes, "Without going into intricate details now, last Thanksgiving I had a vision that led me to believe I have a purpose to serve in this life." How many visions and "rebirths" can one man experience in a lifetime?
It's like TNA and their endless proclamations to re-write history or change the landscape of pro wrestling forever. You'll rarely live up to the resulting expectactions, so why even put the unnecessary pressure on yourself?
I'm not sure who Matt is trying to convince with these messages. Most of his fans haven't stopped supporting him in the first place. They just want to see him do better.
Actions speak louder than words and the sooner Matt realizes that, the sooner he might actually achieve what he puts over in these messages.
