MizThe Miz – One Step Down

From shouting their praises to calling them idiots, the WWE creative team has me scratching my head with their use of the Miz. I can only picture the dialogue in that meeting:

Vince: Miz is the new IC champ. What should we do with him this week?
Idiot #1: Have him lose?
Vince: I like it!
Idiot #2: To Cena?
Vince: Genius! Book it!

If you have a way of making that conversation seem less ridiculous, I'd love to see it.

I don't hate or blame John Cena as a result, like some of you will. It's not his fault they write him this way. It's likely not the creative staff's fault either as I'm sure most of them — mainly the underpaid ones at the bottom — would love to do more with the undercard. It's Vince, I'm sure. And it's absolutely a problem.

I'm not sure if Vince has simply lost the ability to see the bigger picture  or if he ever really had it in the first place, but in either case, he doesn't have it now.

This is more than just one lost match to Cena, too. WWE's misuse of their midcard CHAMPIONS has been going on for far too long. Miz, Rhodes, Santino…it's like they're hardly even there every week.

How can Vince care so little about at least 75% of his talent and storylines? I seriously don't get it.
