CM Punk Defeats Jerry "The King" Lawler in a Steel Cage Match
What I Liked:
Jerry Lawler, at an extended age, can still go with the young guys. CM Punk is a complete guy, and I loved him talking about being the King of Memphis. This poked fun at the history of Lawler, and really got himself to show the fans that he is a guy who can adapt to anybody in the ring. CM Punk is the best in the world at being a complete player in any sense. Lawler hit a few moves on Punk when he became too cocky, including throwing Punk into the cage, and going up top. That did not last long, as Punk would make Lawler tap out to the Anaconda Vice. After the match, he continues his assault on King because he would not call Punk the best in the world. I loved the creative way to have Punk lock himself in with King. You need to get him as much heat as possible so Cena is cheered in his hometown of Boston. That is the ultimate goal. Cena would try and stop it, but Punk escapes without any harm. The long term feud with King needs to basically stop now. Focus on Cena getting revenge on Punk and not having King seek his own revenge. I think that is where they will go next week, but you never know. There can be layers to a story, but Cena needs to be the focal point of CM Punk's attacks.
