Bully Ray def. Robbie E
What I Liked:
There was not much to this match besides a much needed win for Ray. A guy who deserves to be at the top of the standings, Ray got a late start thanks to finishing up his feud with Joseph Park. Ray continues to do what is asked of him, and this match was quick and basically a squash.
What I Disliked:
This is a prime example of why I dislike this series. Do we really expect Robbie E to consistently beat top tier talent? No. He got a cheap win off of Jeff Hardy, but he is in a lose-lose situation. Also, heel vs. heel never works. The crowd needs someone to always have to cheer so they can connect with the action in the ring. That did not happen here. The level of importance for each BFG match gets less and less each week they have matches on Impact. You need to spread out the matches, make them more creative, and build from the top down. That is so crucial.

Madison Rayne def. Tara, Mickie James, and Gail Kim in a Number 1 Contender's Match
What I Liked:
The action was non stop between these four Knockouts. I really enjoyed getting to see some of the old school feel between James and Kim, with a sprinkle of Rayne, who is athletic and takes chances in the ring. There really was not a point in the match where I disliked. Mickie has an excellent neckbreaker, where it looks really painful. She always follows through and the snap of the neck is excellent. The finish came when a few of the Knockouts went for their finishers, and Earl Hebner ended up awarding Rayne the win, even though her shoulders were on the mat.
What I Disliked:
I really do not like or get this little story with Earl Hebner. That is the best they can do with the Knockouts? Have a referee who is known for screwing Bret Hart now screwing all of the women out of matches because of his infatuation with Rayne? A great match that had a weird ending is what we got here.

-Brooke opens up a card with "Dead Man's Hand" card from Aces and Eights. She leaves and Sting watches her go. *Interesting to add Brooke now. It seems like it HAS to be Jeff Jarrett.
