What’s Bothering Me: Chavo/TNA Debut, No SD GM, Ken Doane

I'm back to take a look at a few things bothering me this week in pro wrestling. Nick Paglino and I will be covering the following topics more in-depth tonight, live on the Voice of Wrestling, from 7-8 EST. Visit WZ or VOWLive.com for the live link during the show.

#3. Ken Doane – Shout Out or Shut Up!?

I have no problem with Ken expressing his feelings on a Twitter page. I don't even care that the venom he's spewing involves John Cena and Mickie James, both of which I truly respect. It's his right — that whole "freedom of speech" thing.

I can't say that I even blame him if the accusations he's making toward Cena and James are true. Hell hath no fury like a cheerleader scorned, am I right!?

My issue is more from an empathetic place; I feel sorry for the guy. I actually liked him as a wrestler and thought he had talent plus potential. I can't imagine what he thinks he's gaining from this. WWE won't touch him. TNA won't touch him.

Well, TNA might.

Maybe Doane doesn't care. His aspirations to actually make it far in this business could be shot by now. It wouldn't be the first time a broken heart has caused it and certainly won't be the last.

I just hope he's good at real estate.
