AJ & DANIEL BRYAN – ONE STEP UP
I'm a fan of resolve in pro wrestling, and although we got very little of that when it comes to Punk and Bryans' separation from one another, I'm ultimately fine with how things turned out. Punk remained champion and is on to Cena. Bryan and AJ get to continue working together, for now.
That's the way it should have gone, regardless of the actual finish at MITB.
The wedding is appropriate and there are several ways they could go with it tomorrow night on Raw. I won't try to guess which one they'll take, but I hope it leaves Bryan and AJ together in the end. I won't go so far to say they can be the modern version of Savage and Elizabeth, but I don't think it's out of reach.
Bryan might not have won the WWE Championship, and whether that was the right decision or not is debatable, but he needs to remain relevant. AJ was a contributing factor in what got him to "the dance" and I think it's apropos that she help keep him there.
Without AJ, I fear Vince won't see all the progress Bryan has made in the past year.
