WWE Money in the Bank 2012: What Did & Did Not Bother Me

What Did NOT Bother Me: Ryberg…Again

Yes, every pay per view filler match seems to be Brodus Clay or this guy, but I'm still okay with Ryback and  his continuous winning streak.

I bet Vince is loving the "Goldberg" chants as well.

Here's the ultimate question though: Does Vince really believe Ryback is capable of reaching the level of  success Goldberg did in his prime? Honestly, I can't imagine he does.

Ryback was still just Skip Sheffield, long lost and forgotten member of Nexus, and the guy that used to say  "Yep, yep yep! What it do?" for some strange reason.

Is Vince ready to give Ryback the same push Goldberg was given? Will Vince let Ryback beat the tag  champs in a handicap match? Cody Rhodes? How about letting him win the IC title?

It doesn't have to be now. If Vince wants Ryback to get anywhere close to Goldberg's record, it can't be  anytime soon. But those are the types of matches Ryback will need to eventually win sooner or later if he's  going to be taken serious on a high level.

I'm not sure Vince is willing to go "all in" on Ryback. And if he's not, all of this will eventually be a moot  argument as soon as he's handed his first loss.

What Did AND Did Not Bother Me: WHC Match

SheamusI enjoyed the match, first of all. I thought there was a very good story told and Del Rio and Sheamus  worked hard. The live crowd started off slow, but were into it by the end and that credit should be  appropriately given to the wrestlers.

That being said, it's what lies ahead that concerns me.

Sheamus is over; I can't deny that fact. But I don't remember the last time he's had any real chemistry with  a challenger. Randy Orton got close, but it was too short-lived to really count.

I think I big part of the problem is Sheamus' babyface status. That, and the lack of any viable heel  challengers. None of his recent feuds have clicked for me and I blame a lot of that on the fact he's now  turned into a soft good guy.

I do understand why it's more difficult to turn Sheamus heel while he's the champion and would expect him  to drop the title well before that transition is made, if it ever is.

And Alberto Del Rio — I won't be surprised if he's out of the company by this time next year. It pains me to  say that because I think he's one of the more underrated and underutilized guys WWE has right now, but if  Vince doesn't think the same thing, none of it matters.

Del Rio doesn't "need" WWE. That probably doesn't sit well with Vince and could be a major reason the  trigger is never fully pulled with ADR. Regardless the reason, Del Rio has to be considered a failure at this  point, at least when you put expectations into the equation.
