Money In The Bank – One Expected Step Up
As much as I wanted to throw my TV across the room, through my window, with hope it would land on a baby kitten outside, there was at least one silver lining I found from Monday's edition of Raw. Tonight's pay per view should be newsworthy.
Vince understands he needs as many people watching Raw tomorrow night as possible. Why? So he can push them to watch NEXT week's Monday Night Raw.
It won't necessarily be the best thing for the actual pay per view itself, or even the wrestler(s) involved, but it will set up July 23rd as even more of a mega-event than it already is.
When Vince wants to make something big, he makes it HUGE.
I believe at least one of the major two titles will change hands tonight. And I'm fine with either one at this point.
Sheamus could use the loss to turn heel potentially and Del Rio's window is closing fast. Daniel Bryan, the character, is in a zone right now. Vince could easily decide to strike while the iron is hot.
I think Bryan's title run will be VERY short-lived, however, if he does win tonight.
Raw from this past Monday shouldn't have sold you on tonight's pay per view. Raw from NEXT Monday should have.
Consider tonight and tomorrow night as the two go-home editions to Raw 1,000. That's probably a more accurate way to look at things from Vince's point of view, so it seems.
