Title This: WWE Raw Reaction 7-2-12

WWE RawOpening Segment:

What I Liked:

The beginning of Raw say interactions with John Cena, Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, Chris Jericho, Kane, and The Big Show. I loved the fact that Bryan and Cena interacted in a great way with one another because it gives you an idea of how important Bryan is to the company's future. They were comical, and it really picked up when Punk was able to mock Bryan. Jericho came out and hit his catchphrases, and made a fun of Bryan. Every important piece in the main angles on Raw were showcased. I love how they were able to keep everyone on their game and it really went over well with the crowd. When you can impliment most of your stars to kick off the show, it really adds for interesting television.

What I Disliked:

I felt like Big Show needed to knock out everyone. You have put so much time into this guy, and he cannot make anyone look weak with his WMD punch. Other than that, the segment did what it needed to do. It showed the main players and teased the main events.

Grade: A-

Kofi Kingston, R-Truth, Santino Marella and Christian def. PTP, Cody Rhodes, and David Otunga

What I Liked:

I was not shocked by this match because it is what you expect with Teddy Long. He is always the guy who seemingly makes these matches. The action inside of the ring was really good, and I was happy to see Kingston and Truth work a good portion of the match. PTP needs to get important sooner rather than later. The idea of reviving the Tag Team Division is something that PTP can do with the right push. They leave Otunga and Cody by themselves, so it does not necessarily make them look weak by losing. Christian was carrying a lot of the younger guys in the match. You can rely on him executing moves and progressing the action inside the ring.

What I Disliked:

What the hell are they doing with Otunga and Cody? Neither have any meaning right now, and both are guys who deserve much more than they are getting. One is excellent in the ring, and the other has a great look that will keep him in the company as he learns more offensive skills. I really wanted some sort of Money in the Bank stipulation. Cody and Otunga should have qualified with a victory. It would give them more exposure winning it on Raw rather than Smackdown. Also, why the hell are all Champions faces? It bores me and becomes really predictable with outcomes.
