Samoa Joe def. Bully Ray
What I Liked:
A somewhat faster match than I expected because of their size, Ray and Joe fought and really brawled. The match was carried with a traditional slugfest, with punches and kicks in the corner. With two men of larger stature, you are more believable that they can fight and not knowing who should win. It suspends the realm of scripted wrestling for a moment. The finish came when Joseph Park distracted Ray and slapped him. This storyline continues to unfold and keep going. I liked how they focused more on that over the series, because we are going to get a TON of BFG matches over the weeks, but you cannot lose focus on one of your three main storylines.
What I Disliked:
I was not sure why Bully tapped out. This makes him look weak and really does not do much for him. He is more important in the company than Joe is right now. I wish a quick rollup over a submission move would have been smarter and the best choice to protect a top heel in the company.
Grade: B-
-Claire talks about her story backstage. Furthermore, Kaz enters Hogan's office and says that Daniels lied to him. He does not want to team with him, and Hulk says he has to.
-Brooke Hogan is with Tessmacher when Gail Kim comes in and talks trash about her. She says Gail Kim will get her rematch soon, so she better be ready.
