Number 9: Alberto Del Rio
Given all of the time and opportunity to become a WWE Champion, as well as a consistent main event player, Alberto Del Rio should be much higher up on this list. He is not for a few reasons. I like the fact that he is old school, a guy who has the rich background and the ego that rarely gets diminished. Del Rio’s career has been like a roller coaster, with a few ups but more downs and more steady ground. He has become a guy who feels more like a filler in main event matches rather than a legit contender. He does a great job when given the time to sell a match, and his strength is his attack mode in the ring. The reason he is here is because he is a good heel, but the crowd still does not buy into it 100 percent. He needs to evolve his character and step up his game, or people will not care about him anymore. Del Rio has the ability to do it, but will he execute?
