Beth PhoenixBeth Phoenix def. Alicia Fox

What I Liked:

A quick match with Phoenix hitting the Glam Slam. The only thing I enjoyed is the fact that they are at least doing SOMETHING with the Divas after missing in action for a few weeks.

What I Disliked:

I would chalk up the return of Layla as a failure. She simply does not connect with the crowd, and does not have much charisma to get over quickly. I expect Phoenix to win Sunday and give some importance or relevance back to the Divas Championship

In Ring Segment

What I Liked:

John Laurinaitis comes out and apologizes, but also talks about how Vince needs to stay away from Big Show. Show comes out and says he does not need to lie because he will still get his money, which was clever to remind us about how power and stroke backstage.  Also, Michael Cole announced that John Cena is on his way to the arena. This was different and paid off for people to stick around and wait for Cena. Let's be honest, he draws anywhere and people will want to watch him no matter who he faces. This was smart to tease your main segment of the night, which will likely close out the show. Cena and Show are doing everything they can to make this feel important and less of a random pairing.

Christian def. Jack Swagger

What I Liked:

A very physical and athletic match between Christian and Swagger. Once again, you can see how good Swagger is in the ring, and Chrsitian is a complete wrestler. That is what he does, and adding new moves to somewhat recreate himself in the ring was essential for his return. When you are made a face, you need more moves to entertain the crowd. That is a raeson why guys like Kofi or even a John Morrison are and were faces. They have that arsenal of athletic moves to get the crowd's appreciation and attention. The match was not extensively long, but was long enough for both guys to garner offense and work each other for a good match right in the middle of the show.

What I Disliked:

No real mention of Cody Rhodes, again. I do not care where he is at, if he on promotional tours, you need to at least see him. These guys had great interaction last week only to have none at all heading into the Pay Per View. A huge mistake in my mind.
