bobby RoodeTNA World Championship: Bobby Roode def. Mr. Anderson

What I Liked:

This match was really solid from beginning to end. Roode took the reigns of the match and controlled the mat work on Anderson. You could tell the intensity from Roode, which is surprising to me after Slammiversary. Most talent are a little worn down and forget about the little things after a PPV. Anderson used his fighting techniques, such as ramming Roode's head into the steps. Anderson is not a technically sound guy or the strongest, but he is smart and utilizes all aspects of the ring. The finish came after a few near pinfalls for Anderson, but Roode would lock in the Crossface and make him tap. Good work from both guys in a match that had little build and less history.

Grade: B+

-AJ says they need to get this fixed to Dixie immediately because it is affecting all aspects of his life. They agree, hug, and AJ leaves.

What I Liked:

Sting came out and thanked everyone for Slammiversary and being inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame. He talked about being honored and really loving the company. He went to thank Dixie, but 3 masked men attacked Sting out of nowhere. This ended Impact. I love it, because Sting does not need to fight for the title. He needs to be involved moreso with other talent that he can help and possibly put over. Sting is the nostaliga act for TNA, not a World Champion. I think this is an intelligent way to book Sting, as well as make an angle that is different from a typical feud he has had over the past few years. Well done to finish off the show.
