What’s Bothering Me: The Good & Bad From TNA Slammiversary

James Storm Returns To TNAWhat Did NOT Bother Me: James Storm Returns

Okay, I'm going to group two things together here:

1) It does NOT bother me that James Storm returned last night to beat Crimson.

2) It does bother me that Storm beat him so decisively.

I think Storm should be the next world champion in TNA. He should beat Roode, when it's time. That needs to be relatively soon, if it's going to happen, so I'm aware they need to strike fast. Having him beat Crimson and end his "undefeated streak" was a good way to go.

However, it didn't have to be so quickly and quite so decisively.

I was never a huge fan of the "undefeated" gimmick in the first place, but it was something Crimson had over other TNA talent. The company invested a lot of time, energy and resources into Crimson and the streak. I'm aware someone had to end it and I'm glad it was Storm, but it could have been more competitive.

The win would have meant the same for Storm. The loss wouldn't have been as bad for Crimson.
