Title This: Impact Wrestling Reaction 5-24

Bully RayIn Ring Segment:

Bully Ray comes out and talks about how Hogan made the wrong choice. He says he is going to take it out on everyone else. He notices Joseph Park in the crowd, and Park enters the ring. Ray yells at him and Park says he just wants answers about his brother. The crowd is asked by Park if they think Ray is guilty, and they cheer. Bully Ray punches Park in the stomach and he rolls around the mat until Ray whips him with his chain. He says he is not guilty.

What I Liked:

This is an interesting angle that gives Bully Ray more to do aside from fighting each and every week. Abyss and Ray will be a good fight between two big guys, and I feel there is potential here.

What I Disliked:

Everyone knows Park is Abyss, which is hard to forget about. I really think it could work, but I have been let down before by creative in TNA. Also, Ray has put on great matches, so taking him out of the ring has its postiives and negatives. Has this been drawn out too long? I think they have a short time to make this work.

Grade: B-

Austin Aries def. Joey Ryan (TNA Gut Check)

What I Liked:

Joey Ryan was not a bad in ring competitor. He was able to keep up with a much more talented Aries who makes everyone look good in the ring. The match had enough time, gave enough offense to each guy, but also focused on the ever so growing Aries and his abilities. His dropkick to the corner is excellent. Also, his Brainbuster is perfect for a guy like him. He is not the strongest, so this move is all about execution. He executes to perfection 99 percent of the time.

What I Disliked:

The 70's porn mustache of Ryan was distracting. He looked cheesy and forced upon us. Also, was it appropriate for a guy who is trying to break into the company face Austin Aries? He should be in a feud with someone like Anderson or Hardy to continue to be elevated. Other than that, No complains.
