Title This: WWE Raw Reaction 5-21

WWE RawOpening Segment:

John Cena comes out to talk about his loss to John Laurinaitis. He begins to yell and says that Laurinaitis is nothing but power hungry. Cena said everything was going great and what people wanted to see. Cena breaks down what happened and when Show came out last night. Cena complains that everyone is stuck with "People Power" garbage. Eve comes out and announces John Laurinaitis. He comes out in an electronic wheelchair, and says that he was injured last night. He goes over his multiple injuries and says he is still the GM of Raw and Smackdown. He calls himself a fierce competitor, and he is also a WWE Executive. He says nobody can lay a finger on him, and they will be immediately terminated. Laurinaitis says he rehired Big Show on Saturday. Out comes Show, who says he does need to give the fans an explanation. Furthermore, Big Show says he cried in front of  everyone and got no support. He says he is a sell out and had no sympathy from anybody. David Otunga comes out and Cena says he is not in the mood. Otunga comes out and will face John Cena.

What I Liked:

Even though I am not the biggest fan of this angle progressing the way it is, they addressed the big question from the previous night. Big Show is better suited as a heel because of his size and aggression. He always has been better and gotten more out of him by being a heel. Laurinaitis is so good at getting people to hate him, much like Vickie did when she first came to WWE and seized power. He is funny and knows what to say to get the crowd to get going.

What I Disliked:

Wouldn't Big Show be terminated if he was under contract Saturday? There is a big hole in the WWE's logic and a blaring mistake. Also, the fans showed sympathy the entire time when Big Show was down on his knees. I was there, and the crowd was booing the entire time. You can tell they did not have a real reason for Big Show to turn heel besides him getting fired and this is a way to bring him back. They should have fired him and let him stay off TV for a while. This is way too rushed. Also, I hate how they put so much into Big Show whenever his prime has come and gone. Creative always thinks so much of The Big Show, but it never seems to pan out.

John Cena def. David Otunga

What I Liked:

Thankfully this match did not last too long, as the first segment took almost twenty minutes. You can see the frustration on Cena's face during the match, which really is something he is always good at. He continues to chase Otunga, who wisely punches Cena down to gain the quick upper hand. Cena makes Otunga tap out.

What I Disliked:

Why the hell is Otunga tapping out so quickly? You're telling me to believe that Laurinaitis can stay in the STF longer than a guy as strong as Otunga? That makes no sense, once again. Also, why do we have Reks, Hawkins, O'Neil, and Young attacking Cena? There is no history. Unless they continue to utilize them as Laurinaitis' boys, what is the problem? This was not the case becasue Johnny yelled for them to get back to the locker room. So…. what is the point of having these guys attack? Once again, there is no logic behind it and is completely random to a point where Sheamus comes out to save Cena. We get a 2-3 Handicapped Lumberjack match for later tonight. I do not like this as a main event. It really does not make sense, and I would much rather have Sheamus continue a feud with someone and see who the number 1 contender is.
