Number 4: John Laurinaitis: October 2011- Present
What a transformation this guy has done since being introduced in October. He has been off camera his entire professional career, with many “marks” knowing who he was. I was shocked when they continued to use him on television and recognize his real job title along with it. They did not make up a fake job because they did not need to. This is the guy who deals directly with talent relations. We know the realism that goes into his decisions, and the firings now can be real and made as a television angle. This was a great way to add him on television and now has thrived to a point where he is going to fight John Cena….Yes, John Cena. He has the wrestling background and knowledge, as well as the failure as a wrestler to be poked fun at. He is the complete General Manager that WWE has not had for such a long time. This is not a referee turned GM, nor a retired wrestler who has nothing else to do. John Laurinaitis deserves this opportunity, and he has not disappointed. He has progressively gotten better and better each week since he debuted on WWE TV. I expect him to continue for a long time.
