Number 10: Jonathon Coachman: May 2006-August 2007
Grabbing the reigns and becoming “Interim General Manager” of Monday Night Raw, The Coach would take over for Vince McMahon. This was at a time where the WWE was under so many drastic changes. Dwindling down to the years of the Attitude Era, Coach was an announcer who was made fun of for many years by guys like The Rock and Steve Austin. He would finally hold power on Raw and I really thought that Coach did all he could to make that position important. He had to follow the kayfabe death of Vince McMahon in an exploding limo. He was set up to fail, but he did not fail. He was utilized for over a year, even if he was demoted and promoted numerous times. Was he taken seriously? No. But the coach had the personality and the ego that people hated where he would at least draw a crowd reaction each time he came out. That was his mission, and it was accomplished.
