Bobby Roode def. RVD in a Ladder Match to Retain the TNA Heavyweight Championship:
What I Liked:
Great spots from Roode and RVD in the match, including RVD diving off the Ladder onto Roode. RVD is one of the master’s of the ladder, and it showed with his creativity and versatility in the ring with it. Roode really held his own in a speciality match like this, including being able to continue what he does best. The match felt like a big time match, and there were moments where I thought RVD would take home the title. They teased enough for the switch, but relied on the guy who has carried the company for the past half year.
What I Disliked:
It was good, but there were missed spots during the match that felt like RVD is a little past his prime. I wish Roode would face more competition that is full time. Who is next? I like how his reign has been great and has beaten many opponents, but the long feud has not been there yet.
