WrestleZone’s Top 10: Overused Talent

Number 6: Mark Henry

Mark Henry

Having the best run of his career in 2011, Mark Henry became relevant and important. From good matches with Sheamus to actual entertaining feud with The Big Show, Mark Henry was doing great. Now, he is back to being overused to put over main talent, included clean losses to Cena, Sheamus, and Show. On Raw and Smackdown, Henry is seen as a monster and made to believe that if you beat him, it is an upset. This is not the case anymore, as his “Hall of Pain” is so far from memories. Mark Henry needs to ride off into the sunset. He had that one really good run at the top, something it took him 15 years to do. What else is there for him to do? I would love to see him be used backstage in an agent role. He is very intelligent and is able to script promos and story lines with a different look. It is a shame how overused Henry is now that he is all about putting other guys over. It may be time for him to step aside.
