In Ring Segment:
RVD comes out and talks about entertaining the fans for years. He knows he is great wrestler and will be able to beat Booby Roode in a few weeks. Roode comes out and says RVD's head is always in the clouds. Roode calls himself the "it" factor. We find out Roode will face Anderson and RVD will fight Jeff Hardy.
What I Liked:
RVD will never be a guy who can carry a feud through the microphone. Bobby Roode is a guy who can. He was able to really push this segment quicker and with more importance.
What I Disliked:
RVD is monotone and really bores me on the microphone. He needed Roode to come out and interrupt him. I thought this segment was misplaced and really lacked a meaningful outcome. We get their opponents, but that is about it. I wanted to see something more, especially something like Roode being able to get the upper hand. This will not be a feud where talking is important, but fighting is. I want to see more of an aggressive and intense RVD. We did not get that whatsoever.
Grade: C
Devon (c) def. Rob Terry via DQ for the Television Championship:
What I Liked:
Solid beginning of Terry controlling the offense. A great power slam to showcase his power is a great way to emphasis the difference between the two opponents. I really liked the DQ finish with Robbie E hitting Devon in the head with the clipboard. Rob Terry and Robbie E need to be taken seriously, especially since the past few months have been irrelavant for both guys.
What I Disliked:
I am not sure that this feud will draw interest from the crowd. Devon is in good ring shape, but does he really benefit whatsoever from holding the TV Title? There really is not a point for him to hold a title when other youing guys are not being utilized.
Grade: C+
Al Snow, Ric Flair, and Bruce Pritchard are backstage. They talk about Alex Silva fitting in. Flair does not like him, but the others say he will fit in the X Division. They ask Flair to keep an open mind when talking to Silva tonight.
