Number 4: Kofi Kingston
Giving Kofi the Tag Team Championship does not mean much. Kofi Kingston, I fear, is stuck in the Shelton Benjamin category. I wonder if he will ever get the chance he deserves. Kingston did such a great job with the quick feud he had with Orton a few years back. He was able to get mic time, as well as an opportunity to showcase his abilities with top talent. I wonder what happened. He fell quicker than he rose to mid card status. Kofi is a guy who is much different than Benjamin, but in a good way. He is more versatile on the mic, has a more exciting look, and has the ability to fight with many different talents but keep his wrestling ways. I really think Kingston is a guy who needed to turn heel months ago to freshen himself up. Much like MVP, Kingston may be better suited as a heel. There needs to be an emphasis backstage on trying new things. They feel like Kingston is safe and reliable, but he is not a merchandise juggernaut. The risk could easily be worth the reward. He deserves a chance to change himself and recreate what his character is.
