Kane vs. The Great Khali ends in a No Contest in a Beat The Clock Challenge:
What I Liked:
A rematch of WrestleMania 23, where neither of these guys were relevant. Kane is much more over now than he was 5 years ago, but this match did not do him any favors.
What I Disliked:
Awful match. Why would you book these two guys in a ring together? Why would you book Khali in a match against anybody? These are the questions I ask myself each and every single week. You give these two guys 5 minutes, but there is no time on the card for a guy like Dolph Ziggler. That disgusts me.
Grade: F
Daniel Bryan def. Jerry "The King" Lawler in a Beat The Clock Challenge: (2:21)
What I Liked:
I did not expect a week ago that Daniel Bryan would face C.M. Punk at Over The Limit for the WWE Championship. Let's be honest, there is not much to say about all of these matches tonight. Bryan and Punk is a wrestling fan's modern day dream. No doubt that Bryan and Punk will have a fantastic match. Both guys are excellent in many ways in the ring. Great combination of submission, technicality, and a concentration on details. Bryan and Lawler did what they needed to in just over two minutes, and that is to get Bryan over in a quick fashion.
What I Disliked:
Why Lawler? That really did not make much sense to me. It shows you how weak faces are on Raw that they needed to tap into Lawler's talents to get a quick victory for a heel like Bryan. Interesting.
Grade: B- (Just for the fact that I like Bryan vs. Punk)
