Cody Rhodes defeats Big Show – I'm not sure whether I actually think this will happen or if wishful thinking is clouding my judgment. I like Cody on the mid-card level and I don't feel he's ready to advance higher than that. I think Show's IC title reign was always meant to be short-lived because…it just feels weird. And wrong. When Show won the title in the first place, I thought that in the end, it would be the right move if Cody got it back from Show, and relatively quickly. Well this Sunday is "relatively quickly", so let's make it happen Vince!
Santino defeats The Miz – I'm actually looking forward to checking this out live on YouTube. It sucks that the Miz is subjected to this position, but it's a unique way to lead into the pay per view and it gets WWE even further into YouTube's good graces. You can't blame them for that strategy. The only part I don't love about this match is how random it is. It makes me wonder if that's what we can expect going forward. Miz goes back to the mid-card and likely wins the US title from Santino at some point in the next couple months. I guess that's better than nothing?
