Devon def. Gunner to retain the Television Championship:

What I Liked:

A forced match with no much meaning here. I am a fan of Gunner and what he is capable of given some of his limitations, but this pairing against Devon did nothing for me. Grab the interest of the fans, and make them feel invested with it. I felt like there was no connection here.

In Ring Promo:

James Storm comes out and apologizes for losing on Sunday. He was happy to send Roode on a stretcher, but his emotions got the best of him. He also says his luck ran out, exactly what Roode said to him. He is upset and disappointed, and walks away.

RVD def. Ken Anderson and Jeff Hardy to Become the Number 1 Contender:

What I Liked:

Well, it looks like it is RVD's turn to take a shot at Roode. The cycle continues, and I enjoyed this match. These guys have similar styles in offense, relying mostly on athleticism and creativity. Anderson is more of the brawler, but it worked with two smaller build guys. Good back and forth action, including DDT's and a Whisper in the Wind from Hardy. No doubt Hardy is good in the ring, but RVD showed me more. All of these guys have the same offense for over a decade, but RVD was able to hit his finisher and get a quick cover with a backslide. Very good call by creative there instead of making one guy look like the weak link. There will be more from Anderson and Hardy, as I feel that they will be involved in the title picture in some fashion.

What I Disliked:

RVD immediately comes back and gets a title shot. I really wish he was able to get a few feuds in his pocket before going straight to the top. Nonetheless, RVD gets a shot, one that he "deserves" due to how he previously lost it. I wonder if he has signed a new deal because if he did not, why would they push him? This title picture, a cluttered one, will be interesting to see it unfold. I hope they remember Roode is their money maker. He is the guy who needs to carry the veterans so he can further progress and solidify himself as the man of the company.
