Title This: Impact Wrestling Reaction 4-12

Opening Segment:

Eric Bischoff talks about how Garret and Hulk feel that they are in control. Bischoff continues to say that his name and legacy will live on. He brings out his team, which includes Bully Ray. Ray says his only mistake was his son, Garret. Furthermore, Ken Anderson comes out with Garret and he is mentioned as a member of Garret's team.

Gunner def. Ken Anderson by DQ:

What I Liked:

This was not a match, but a brawl. I loved the intensity of Anderson and Gunner, something fresh and unique to see to start off the show. Furthermore, Anderson is a guy who needs to continue to re-create himself to stay fresh to the fans. This was a great opportunity to see the bad ass that many people want him to be.  While he got DQ'ed, I felt it was the right call because of the intensity he portrayed throughout the entire match.

What I Disliked:

I wanted this to go much longer, as I felt both guys need a rub from the crowd. They both need as much time in the spotlight, and starting off the show is so important. They got it off on a solid note, I wish they had more of their own flavor added. Nonetheless, it was well done to remind us about the teams and the intensity we will see at Lockdown.

Eric Young is getting ready for his wedding, and Joseph Park says he is an attorney. He then asks if he has seen Abyss, in which Young replies Abyss was tied up with Immortal.

In Ring Segment:

Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley come out to talk about injuries sidelining both guys. They direct their conversation to Samoa Joe and Magnus. They talk about beating them on Sunday. Out come Joe and Magnus, who say they respect them, but Magnus is part of the best tag team today/We get Mexican America, who talk about their accomplishments. Sabin and Shelley attack Anarchia, while Joe and Magnus look on.

What I Liked:

I really enjoyed how they are building this match for Sunday. Joe and Magnus are the tag team where strength is their specialty. The Guns are great in every facet, one of the best tag teams in the industry. I curious to see how they book this match, as I feel Sabin and Shelley should walk out as champions.

What I Disliked:

The beat down of Anarchia did not do much for me. I didn't quite get that, especially since they are not involved in the match. I would have rather seen MCMG and Joe/Magnus get in some sort of scuffle with the heels retreating. Either way, both teams did just enough to pump up their match for Sunday without having to fight.
