WrestleMania Prediction Machine: The Final Results

Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus for the World Heavyweight Chmpionship

Sheamus

Nick Paglino:

I feel like WWE wants Sheamus to have that big win at WrestleMania this year, and if you tie that in with my strong feeling that Punk is gong to the retain the WWE Title, then I have to go with Sheamus winning the World Title at 'Mania. Personally, I think Daniel Bryan is really coming into his own in WWE, and has found something great with his recent title reign, but in the end, WWE tends to reward baby faces too quickly, so instead of allowing this feud some breathing room, I think WWE will make the hasty decision to give Sheamus the win.

Justin LaBar:

I think while Daniel Bryan has impressed the right people in WWE which has allowed him to hold the title since December, Sheamus has been lined up to win this title at WrestleMania 28 for quite some time.

Josh Isenberg:

Sheamus will walk out as the champion. This is my pick to start the show. What better way than having a face capture the gold to kick off the night? It gets the crowd hot, into the action, and will get a huge pop for Sheamus. He has been built up for so long that he has to win. Bryan has done a fantastic job as the champion, as I have bought into his persona over the past month. The match should be a mixture of technicality and physicality, with Sheamus getting the bulk of the offense. I really feel like Bryan will almost get Sheamus to tap at some point, with Sheamus coming with a Brogue Kick out of nowhere. Bryan will get rematches and remain a top heel on Smackdown.
