DEBUT FEATURE: Wrestlezone Presents! – The Depth Chart

Hello Wrestlezone readers! Welcome to the long-awaited, highly anticipated, brand new feature here at Wrestlezone.com, where FINALLY…your opinion matters! It has been my goal for awhile to create something interactive, where Wrestlezone writers, various internet personalities, and wrestling fans alike can come together and voice their opinions. While I'm sure this column won't be up for any Nobel Peace prizes in the near future, I'm hoping to have a lot of fun and get a lot of people involved! As such, everything from the people on the list to the very name of the feature itself was decided by you, the Wrestlezone readers.

For everyone who hasn't been following along with my updates on this feature, here's what you need to know: we here at Wrestlezone have put together a list of who we feel are the top ten Superstars in both WWE and TNA right now. Every month going forward, usually after a WWE pay-per-view, we will update the list, with people moving up and down based on their performance. Guys (or gals) at the top will compete to be Number 1, while the lower end will fight to maintain their spot on the list! Alongside our list will be a top ten voted on by you, the fans! Those lists will be put side-by-side, along with comments from wrestling writers and Twitter fans alike, to bring you what I believe will become the most comprehensive Top 10 list in the wrestling world! So…let's get down to business!

Zack Ryder10) Zack Ryder – WWE
      Fan Vote: Zack Ryder

Over 1,000 of you voted, and Zack Ryder came in at the same position on your list as he did on ours! The Long Island hero has become one of wrestling's quickest rising stars, using his own creativity and uncanny connection with the internet to get him over. Anybody who watched Survivor Series knows just how far that kid has come… But Zack Ryder is a fan of the people, and there's no better way for him to make his debut on our list than by YOUR comments!

@adamdjohno: "a self made success who may never be big but is a great mid card entertainer. Much like Attitude Era with Goldust etc… he could have given up but went out, was himself and made it impossible for WWE to avoid him. He's an entertainer that WWE needs"

@AzanSaigol: "Zack Ryder did it all on his own, he didn't have WWE shove him down our throats he did his own thing. That is why he's up  there!"

9) Jeff Jarrett – TNA
      Fan Vote: The Miz

Jarrett is an extremely under-rated talent within TNA. He gets a terrible reputation because of the company's perceivably bad decisions, when in reality he should be judged based on his character and in-ring performance. His work with Kurt Angle earlier this year was some of the best in his career, and he's putting over Jeff Hardy in a very believable way right now. Jarrett (and his wife Karen) have perfected the heel role, and know how to draw heat better than most in the industry. His in-ring work is some of the best in TNA, and I usually find myself looking forward to whatever program he finds himself in.

8) John Cena – WWE
    Fan Vote: John Cena

It seems the fans and our writers agree: John Cena is still up there with the best, but he's not performing as well as a lot of other guys right now. Love him or hate him, the fact is that he's the biggest full-time name in pro wrestling, and he works his ass off to bring the fans entertaining shows six to seven days a week. But here's the thing… apart from his work with Mick Foley last week, I haven't been entertained by a single thing he's done all year. His feud with CM Punk wasn't ever about him, it was about Punk, conspiracy, and management. Cena just happened to be the champion at the time… Even when he was working with the Rock, I was more interested in the Great One, and at times the then-champion the Miz! Cena has been stuck in neutral for far too long, and as soon as he does something interesting -it doesn't have to be a heel turn, just SOMETHING interesting- he'll move on up the list!
