Breaking Down the Nash/Punk Angle; w/ Several News Updates

We all love a good mystery.  It gives us something to do.  Multiple options and scenarios with only one being the "right" one allows us to investigate, analyze and draw a conclusion using sound deduction, rhyme and reason.

Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?

I think Colonel Mustard did it with the candlestick in the conservatory.

Who were really behind the attacks of 9/11?  (Okay, sorry, not the place for that.)

Just who texted Kevin Nash…really?

The difference between solving a wrestling mystery and the aforementioned board game/tv show is simple.  In wrestling, rhyme and reason is in the eye of the beholder backstage.  In WWE, Vince McMahon is the constant variable that is known to change his mind or have his mind changed for him – almost invariably.  Let's just say, I wouldn't want to play board games with him.

Update on my earlier report regarding the Kevin Nash angle: while he didn't specifically say he received the text from Triple H's phone, that "is" the message WWE wanted him to get across.  One WWE source told me that unless Vince & Co. goes completely off the radar with the outcome of this story, the options are supposed to be limited to those who could have had access to Hunter's phone.

To reiterate: Kevin Nash received the text from Hunter's phone, but not necessarily Hunter.  That's the reason Nash, during his promo last night, questioned Hunter's not knowing and said the two needed to get on the same page.

To recap what we can reasonably deduct from what we've been given (or should have been given clearly), Kevin Nash thought he was a gunman for hire, hired to stick the winner of the Cena/Punk match after receiving a text from his friend Triple H while watching SummerSlam live with tickets he asked Triple H for and picked up at will call.  However, Triple H says he had no knowledge of Kevin's post-match attack on CM Punk and thus, is waiting for answers just like the rest of the world (yes, the entire rest of the world watches wrestling.)

If WWE keeps it simple (stupid), the possible scenarios should be very limited as it relates to who texted Kevin Nash.  The two questions should be: a) Is Hunter lying? and b) If not, who could and would have had access to Hunter's phone Sunday during the pay per view?

If I'm Kevin Nash, I'd be wondering where my damn money is right about now.  In his mind, Hunter owes him for taking out Punk.  If Hunter didn't text him, someone else did and come on, a gotta gots to get paid!

Let's look at the suspects and as far as motive goes, remember that the text apparently said "stick the WINNER", not specifically CM Punk:
