They say the show must go on. I disagree. This is one example where Nash felt very strongly that the show should not go on. And he was right.
Lame-ass fat-ass Dudley (the white one) reportedly said that Nash has done the same thing, like that’s a palatable excuse for putting Sabin at risk. Anyway, not true. I was there when Nash power-bombed the Giant (Big Show) on his neck. Watch the tape, and you can see Nash ask Giant if he’s OK before continuing. Nash once knocked Sean Waltman goofy and went home immediately. Nash isn’t a mark. He knows it’s a work, and that safety is paramount.
The classic denouement to this idiocy will be when Nash gets punished for insubordination while nothing happens to those who put Sabin at risk.
Some Internet hacks feel this drama indicates that Jeff Jarrett should return to TNA to restore order. Yeah, that would help. Maybe Jeff could run off with Nash’s wife. Jarrett set TNA’s standard when it comes to violating trust.
Sometimes the inmates have to run the asylum. Being boss doesn’t make you right. It’s not comparable to someone being press-slammed while unconscious, but A.J. Styles was justified in blowing up at Vince Russo. The babyface world champ shouldn’t be made to look weak or stupid. That’s Booking 101, a class Russo flunks every time I turn on Spike TV.
TNA’s solution will probably be to oppress the victims. I say punish the perpetrators. Dixie Carter is lucky Sabin isn’t suing her dumb ass.
