Vincent K. McMahon doesn’t respect much, but he must respect Madison Square Garden for being his father’s home base, because WWE almost always puts on great events in Manhattan.
Monday’s Raw saw Kofi Kingston’s star rise to the next level. But will McMahon go all the way with Kingston? Will Kingston beat Randy Orton at Survivor Series? I doubt it. This strikes me as yet another false start for a WWE mid-carder. McMahon will stick with the tried and true. But McMahon should reconsider. MSG is a tough crowd, and Kingston won them over. If he can make it there…
McMahon may have respect for MSG. But he certainly doesn’t have any for Roddy Piper. His promo on Piper was mean-spirited, nasty and went too far. Piper was a key player in McMahon’s national expansion. Piper deserves better.
But that’s McMahon. By denigrating the key players in his rise to dominance, he makes it seems like he was solely responsible. Which he wasn’t, not by a long shot. McMahon’s tirade hopefully provided Ric Flair with enough reason to never go back.
What do you expect from a guy that ran off his own son? Shane wasn’t good-looking enough, big enough or athletic enough, so Vince replaced him with Triple H. While Vince narcissistically builds his body, Shane will use his brain to help MMA continue hammer-punching sports entertainment to the back of the line. JACKPOT!
