Things got worse in OVW when Jim Ross left his position as the Head of Talent Relations. With no gatekeeper, the insanity grew beyond the point of ridiculous.  When Jim Cornette finally had enough, Danny had even less help.  Jim’s rants and meltdowns were a result of the frustration of trying to run a wrestling company with clinically-insane “sports entertainers” screwing with him, Danny and OVW on purpose.

As partners, Danny Davis and Jim Cornette were able to develop home-grown stars to grow the Ohio Valley Wrestling promotion, school and eventually, the WWE Developmental Territory. But a decade later, OVW has freed themselves of the torture, anxiety and stress and are looking to help develop the next generation of wrestling stars, starting September 4th and 5th.
