#5.) Samoa Joe vs Kurt Angle – Lockdown 2008

Two years prior when Kurt Angle had debuted in TNA, he went right after the undefeated Samoa Joe and ended his streak. The two would have a feud through a good part of the year. Two years later, their rivalry was renewed and they had their best match to date in a Six Side Steel Cage match. The stipulation also stated that it was a Title vs Career match, with Joe’s career on the line.

In a unique bout, Angle and Joe blended MMA into pro wrestling and put on an absolute clinic. Being two of the very best at the time, they delivered in a big way and in the technical masterpiece, Joe would pin Angle to win his sole TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Unfortunately, Angle got legitimately injured during the bout, but it didn’t stop him from putting on a great match as always.
