#2.) John Cena – SummerSlam 2016
In the second match of an incredible trilogy, Styles and Cena renewed their feud right after being drafted to SmackDown Live. The first match saw Styles win with the help of Gallows & Anderson. Despite an incredible match that saw Styles constantly one-up Cena, the result was tainted.
The second time around, however, Styles didn’t have their help as they were on RAW, but that didn’t stop him. In just the second match of the night, Cena and Styles took it to a whole new level and set a huge standard for other matches that night to top them. Ultimately, no match was able to equal the masterclass storytelling between the two elite superstars.
The best part of it all? Styles would end up defeating Cena clean. Weeks later, he would go on to claim the WWE Championship.
